The Crane & Turtle

Acrylic on Canvas - In Vietnamese lore, a crane saved a turtle in a time of drought by flying the turtle to find life-saving water. Later, in a time of flood, the turtle prevented the crane's demise by carrying the crane on his back until the flood receded and the land was once again dry.
